Stepik is the largest MOOC platform in the CIS region, with over 6 million users. I built a strong, data-driven marketing department, established unit economics, set target metrics, and launched new acquisition channels. As a result, we significantly improved retention in key verticals and optimized the marketing structure. Working with the product team, I also introduced key changes to enhance unit economics and drive overall growth.

Stepik Teach is a B2B platform for companies to create courses. I led the re-launch of the product in the market, defining its positioning based on customer development insights. I identified key JTBDs for user acquisition and launched multiple marketing channels. I worked closely with sales to align activities, analyse prospects to understand scalable channels and tactics. The product was launched in 1.5 months and achieved positive unit economics in 4 months.

With over 10 years of marketing experience, I've built a career focused on driving growth for digital products in a variety of industries.

I'm highly adaptable in managing both marketing and business operations, moving seamlessly between creative and data-driven approaches. My passion for technology keeps me at the forefront of emerging trends, enabling me to implement forward-thinking solutions.

I believe in structured, efficient processes like OKRs and Kanban, which help me maintain clarity and focus while managing complex projects.

Outside of work, I'm passionate about traveling, weightlifting, cooking good food, and learning new things every week.

Why am I now a fractional CMO?

A fractional CMO is like a Big Four consulting firm for corporations, but in the world of SMBs and startups. You may have all the complex tasks that require an experienced strategist, but you're not ready to pay for a full-time executive.

In early-stage companies, founders often take on the marketing role themselves and struggle to find the time and focus needed to dive into every detail and test various hypotheses.

Alternatively, marketing is handled by a junior or mid-level manager who may not have enough experience to effectively manage multiple channels.

One of my key strengths has always been that founders see me not only as a marketing professional, but also as an entrepreneur – someone who cares about the business as a whole, not just its marketing.

I take a holistic approach, looking at marketing goals through the lens of product, operations, sales, and finance to ensure we are speaking the same language and aligned with broader business goals.

To maintain my ability to see beyond growth strategies to fundamental business issues and nuances, I continue to work in-house, but on a part-time basis. This allows me to stay connected to all aspects of the business and product management.
